Arizona (Try to Leave)

Tm47 is an emerging independent Hip-hop artist who first made a name for himself as Devon J. While still in high school he began cutting mixtapes and in 2018 he made his professional solo recording debut as Tm47 with the album “Dystopia.” That record introduced a talented singer, rapper, songwriter and producer from Phoenix, Arizona with a unique perspective on the world around him.

Diagnosed with ADHD and Autism at an early age, Tm47 was non-verbal until the age of six. As he got older he found music to be an effective means of communicating with the world. Though based in Hip-hop, his music regularly incorporates elements of multiple other genres including Pop and Rock.

“Arizona (Try to Leave)” is the latest single from Tm47, released worldwide to all major streaming services on May 27, 2022. The track opens on a melodic acoustic guitar intro. Soon the beat drops on a downtempo Rock groove. The singer steps to the mic for the song’s dreamy Indie-Pop chorus. Through the verses he trades bars with guest rapper Levi Cox about the obstacles to happiness.
