We first heard from Alive Like A Suicide in December of last year upon the release of their debut single, “Skeleton Bedsheets.” That track introduced The Static Dive readers to a talented and eclectic three piece from Australia. Their sound mixes elements of pop, rock and hip-hop into something completely new.
Since dropping that debut the band has released a total of four singles. Their multi-genre experiments have struck a chord with independent music fans around the world with tracks like pop/punk “Up on the Punk Side.” With their latest, the band explores the hard rock vibes of the fabulous 1980’s.
“Blood Rose” is the brand new single from Alive Like a Suicide, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 1, 2022. Clocking in at just over six minutes, the track is an epic tale told in lovelorn poetry, multi-part vocal harmonies, metal guitar acrobatics and a healthy dose of art rock complexity. It’s a fun ride for any fan of big hair, smoke machines and killer solos.
