Jennifer Alvarado is a singer, songwriter and guitarist with a cool radio-ready sound. She is a talented writer with keen pop sensibilities and soulful singer with deep roots in the blues and country music. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember her from the songs “Filthy Water” and “Curious.”
She made her professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the single “Breaking Free.” The prolific writer followed with 5 more singles that year and her debut 8-track EP in 2021. She has worked extensively in Music City and was named ”One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association in Spring 2021. She is an award-winning songwriter and was recently named the “2021 Country Artist of the Year” by Indie Star Radio.
“Rock this Way” is the brand new single from Jennifer Alvarado, released worldwide to all major streaming services on June 17, 2022. The track opens on a raw honky-tonk blues guitar riff before the beat drops on a driving midtempo groove. Jennifer steps the mic and in her signature smooth country/pop soprano and singer a country’s girl’s ode to Rock & Roll.
