Jxckson is an emerging alt-pop singer/songwriter who made his professional solo recording debut in 2019 with the single “Icarus.” That track introduced a talented and witty artist with a taste for dance grooves and an irreverent style. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, he tells tales of life, love and dating from the perspective of a young gay man living in Austin, Texas.
The Static Dive has followed Jxckson’s career from the beginning. In that time he has released over two dozen songs, including last year’s 8-track collection “Paradox.” With a uniquely groove-savvy and radio-ready sound, he blends elements of r&b, hip-hop and pop into something distinctly funky, new and infectiously catchy.
“SIREN” is the brand new single from Jxckson, released worldwide via all major streaming services on July 8, 2022. On the track, he and Austin-based producer Sim Boy pair the singer’s signature cinematic pop with EDM, k-pop and synthwave vibes. Ambient synths introduce the track. Soon the beat drops on a classic four-on-the-floor house groove and the singer steps to the mic with a sexy proposition for the man in his sights.
Directed and edited by Trent Owen, conceptualized by Jxckson and choreographed by Ashley Sikes, the song’s video features Jxckson and his two dancing accomplices known as “The SIRENS” (played by Hayley Sikes and Nicole Kopren). They are on the run from an obsessed ex-detective (played by actor Jason Rhodes) who is closing in. It’s a lot of fun.
