Dirty The Queen’s Emotional Breakup Ballad

dirty the queen

Dirty the Queen are an independent modern rock band who made their professional recording debut in 2022. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember their single “Painted With The Red“. That track introduced an exciting new band from Los Angeles, California with a timeless guitar and vocal driven vibe that harkens back to the heyday of album rock radio.

Since first getting together last year, Dirty the Queen have released three singles. In the meantime they have been tearing up LA’s legendary club scene with their mix of alternative and classic rock. The rockin’ quintet’s lineup includes; Cleveland Boney (keys/vocals), Spencer Stutesman (lead vocals/guitar), Andrés Acuña (lead guitar/vocals), Lucas Aton (drums/vocals) and Joshua Sandbloom (bass).

“Right” is the brand new single from Dirty the Queen, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 26, 2022. The band slows things down a bit for this emotional breakup song. A solo vocalist delivers his relationship post-mortem, accompanied only by piano through the first 1:30 of the song. Then the band drops a big rock power ballad on the mix for a lighter-waving, arena-ready sound.

Check out “Right” below. You can also hear the song on the Deep Indie Dive playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service. Follow the links below to connect with the band. Get on their profiles, follow their socials and get in the know as the Dirty the Queen story unfolds.
