Los Angeles’ Love Ghost returns with their second release for West Coast indie label, Cleopatra Records. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the band from previous hits like “Peace = Madness“, “Wolfsbane” and “Shine Like Gold“.  Since their 2018 debut the band has produced a remarkable volume of work, dropping new music monthly.

Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Finnegan Bell, Love Ghost is an eclectic alternative band who mixes elements of rock, pop and trap into a unique and emotionally powerful sound.  The group has toured the world, often sharing the stage with legends. Recent high-profile gigs include the Rockpalast Festival in Germany and Mexico City’s Auditorio BB and Amazon’s Gamergy Festivals. The latter was broadcast all across Latin America.

“Homesick” is the latest single from Love Ghost, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 11, 2022. A moving emo/acoustic rock lament, the song tells the tale of a young man trying to find himself as he learns from mistakes, his own and those of others. Bell sings of love, drugs and the confusion inherent to both as the mellow downtempo track gradually builds to an indie-rock power ballad.
