LoudPack Lo is back with a dose of hip-hop holiday cheer. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the DMV rapper from previous releases like last year’s EP #Road2Mainstream and the full-length Square 1. Known to his friends and family as Omar Holt Jr, he pairs an old-school lyrical flow with classic soul grooves and boom-bap beats.
The prolific rapper has released two albums, two mixtapes and a half dozen singles since his 2021 solo debut, “To Whom it May Concern”. He has also reached millions of fans in recent years via his Soundcloud page. That’s where he dropped his recent offering of Christmas well wishes.
“Christmas With You” is the latest single from LoudPack Lo, released worldwide via his Soundcloud page on December 23, 2022. An electric piano opens the track with some smooth soul vibes. Strings enter the mix and soon the beat drops on a chill hip-hop beat. The singer steps to the mic with a simple and sweet holiday love song.
