IOVA is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist songwriter who made her professional solo recording debut in 2018 with the single “North”. However, that was hardly the beginning of a musical journey that started when she was just eleven years old. Encouraged by her family the young artist found aptitude on both piano and guitar.
The singer launched her career as a member of LaLa Band, the most famous teen-centered sitcom series in Romania. Since her debut, the prolific IOVA has produced a remarkable volume of work, dropping nearly three dozen singles in less than five years. She has connected with fans worldwide and has over 200K listeners monthly on Spotify.
“Side by Side” is the latest single from IOVA, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 12, 2023. Ambient synths and vocal effects introduce a subdued dark pop mood. Soon a pulsing beat drops. The singer steps to the mic with a dreamy and melancholic love song. Percussive arpeggios paint the periphery as the singer softly states the case for unity.
