Luis M Aragon is multi-disciplinary artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2022 with the classical orchestral piece, “Fanfare for Monica”. That track introduced a multifaceted composer, playwright and theatre manager from San Diego, California. A recognized leader in the city’s vibrant theatre community, he has played an integral role in the region’s artistic culture.
He has led San Diego’s premier Latino theatre company, Teatro Máscara Mágica to successful collaborations with many of the region’s other multicultural theatre companies. Luis M Aragon also held a residency at the LA SALON theatre in San Ysidro, California. As an artist, Aragon has composed the music and co-authored the book for two musicals, ELENA, FELONS! He wrote the book, lyrics and the music for his own musical, LOVING CUPID.
“Time To Move On” is the opening track and current single from Luis M Aragon’s new album, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 31, 2022. The track opens on a melancholy piano ballad. A female vocalist steps to the mic for an emotionally powerful torch song. Orchestral strings set a moving and cinematic scene as the singer mourns the passing of an epic love affair.
