DmoCobb’s Hard New Tech House Banger

DmoCobb is an emerging independent electronic music producer who dropped his debut EP Something New, Something Different in early 2020. He first appeared on these pages that same year upon the release of his 2020 EP, Night Drive II. That record introduced The Static Dive readers to a genre-bending multi-instrumentalist recording artist and veteran performer with a long established reputation as one of the top DJs in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

Since his debut DmoCobb’s music has connected with fans worldwide with underground club hits like “Show Me Luv Riddim”. He has generated quite a buzz in the industry as well. He’s received widespread exposure on high-profile shows like Anna Lunoe’s HyperHouse Radio on Beats1radio, and as an opening act for celebrated artists such as Kill The Noise, Habstrakt, and Ghastly. The DJ still performs live regularly at gigs all around Texas, including a weekly Friday residence at The Marc in San Marcos, Texas.

“Mob Shit” is the latest single from DmoCobd, released worldwide via all major streaming services on February 26, 2023. On the new track, the eclectic producer hits the dancefloor with a hard tech house banger. A classic analog synth bass rides an organic house groove as hip-hop and other vocal samples paint the periphery. It’s a hard-hitting and hypnotic jam.
