Los Angeles quintet Dirty the Queen debuted in 2022 with a guitar-driven sound inspired by decades of alternative and classic rock. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the band from previous tracks like last year’s “Right” and their most recent single “Don’t Look My Way“.
Since their debut the band has dropped five singles and connected with thousands of fans online. In the real world the group has been making the rounds on the stages of their hometown’s legendary club scene. Dirty the Queen’s members include, Cleveland Boney (keys/vocals), Spencer Stutesman (lead vocals/guitar), Andrés Acuña (lead guitar/vocals), Lucas Aton (drums/vocals) and Joshua Sandbloom (bass).
“No Tomorrow” is the brand new single from Dirty the Queen, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 19, 2023. Through the verse the track rides an alternative rock guitar-riff groove. On the mic, Stutesman offers an apocalyptic tale of a society set to self destruct. In the chorus the song opens up to an early-2000s anthemic emo rock vibe.
