Garden State native, genre-bending EDM producer Pat Triano just dropped his first new music of 2023. The New Jersey DJ returns with a boozy new banger, just in time for summer. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the groundbreaking artist from popular tracks like “Lullaby” and “Goodbye Summer“. His latest is a summer anthem equally suited for beach-party tailgates and smoky after-hours clubs.
Pat Triano is a turntable veteran who went back to the studio in 2021 after a long hiatus. Since his return he has dropped more than a dozen singles, ranging in style from tropical house grooves, to guitar-driven EDM rockers, and catchy radio-ready pop bops. In December he released the synthwave/trance Joe Borowski collab, “Young Again”.
“Vodka Cranberry” is the brand new single from Pat Triano, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 26, 2023. As the track opens, a funky glitch analog synth calls all the ravers to the floor. Soon the beat drops on an infectious Caribbean-infused dub house groove. Syncopated vocal and percussion samples swizzle the mix as a rapper delivers a fun and laid-back ode to the titular beverage.
