Echo Strike’s Dance Floor Escape Fantasy

echo strike

We first heard from Echo Strike in December upon the release of their fourth album “Can’t Do Anything Right“. That record introduced readers of The Static Dive to an internationally renowned band with a genre-fluid vibe. Their unique sound mixes elements of indie-pop, sonic rock, and dance-infused funk.

The group debuted in 2019, featuring the trio of Randy Van Gelder, Beau Newlin, and Jonathan Broussard. The roster has since grown to include members Home, Juan Zeta, John Peace, and Giu. Echo Strike has connected with millions of fans around the world with underground hits like “Catch Me” and last year’s “Hello”. Now they have returned with their first new music of 2023.

“Rabbit Hole” is the brand new single from Echo Strike, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 27, 2023. A melodic minor-key piano opens the track on a cinematic vibe. Soon the beat drops on a low-key house beat. Van Gelder steps to the mic with a dreamy dance floor escape fantasy, as a mix of analog and electronic instrumentation builds the track from a melancholy ballad to a disco-infused celebration.

Check out the groovy animated neon psychedelia of the “Rabbit Hole” video below. You can also hear the song on the Deep Indie Dance playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service. Follow the links below to connect with Echo Strike. Get on their socials and get in the know.
