When Kilo House asked to remix The Static Dive’s 2019 single “Low Tide Funk”, the two could never have imagined what the song would become. What started out as a simple bass, piano, and synth groove, evolved into an epic festival-ready banger. Released worldwide on August 4, 2023 via all major streaming services, the newly reimagined track was inspired by York Beach, Maine, and mixes elements of house, trance, ambient, and jazz into an exhilarating instrumental anthem.
The Static Dive is the professional name of multi-instrumentalist New York composer, producer, and music blogger Bob Smith. Kilo House is a multi-genre producer and electronic music recording artist based in Los Angeles. Together, they comprise the House of Static record label and production team.
