We first heard from Steve Hiller in July upon the release of his single “Beauty Is“. That record introduced readers of The Static Dive to a thirty year veteran musician and songwriter. After decades on the road as a keyboardist for popular soul and gospel musicians, Steve launched his solo recording career in 2018.
Originally from Connecticut, Steve Hiller now calls Florida home. There he works with local talent, and remotely with studio musicians from around the world, to create his unique and eclectic sound. His latest is a cross-Atlantic collaboration with two talented session musicians from Lyon, France, Mike Noegraf (guitar) and Zamm Kenoby (drums).
“Listen to the Wind Blow” is the brand new single from Steve Hillier, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 11, 2023. Ethereal ambient synths introduce the track, and the singer steps to the mic with a heartfelt love song. An ensemble of drums, bass, piano, and guitar enters the mix, launching the tune into an anthemic prog-rock power-ballad, highlighted by an arena-worthy guitar solo.
