Thousand Frames is a veteran independent band from Denver, Colorado. They got their start in 2012 when the songwriting and production team of Kyle Kaufman and Kelsey Marchman first got together. That pairing brought forth a cinematic rock powerhouse, known for epic electronic rock productions and emotion-packed performances.
Since their debut, the Southwest rockers have released two EPs and two standalone singles. Regular readers of The Static Dive will also remember Kelsey Marchman’s 2020 solo project “Better Late Than Never“. Last month the brand dropped their first new music in four years.
“Done Blaming Myself” is the brand new single and video from Thousand Frames, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 18, 2023. A deep sawtooth synth introduces the track’s main riff before the beat drops on a hard melodic rock groove. On the mic, Kyle Kaufman delivers a bit of self-healing in the form of a scathing relationship post-mortem while guitarist Marchman and drummer Ryan Smith lay down thunderous groove-metal jam.
