We first heard from EVindie last November, upon the release of her single “It’s You“. That track introduced The Static Dive readers to multi-talented independent singer, songwriter and guitarist, Eve Dove. A veteran of San Francisco’s red-hot music scene, she made her solo recording debut in 2022.
Since then, the prolific songwriter has released five singles of blues-infused genre-fluid heartbreakers. Fans around the world have begun to pick on her cool mix of classic rock, latin, and R&B influences. In June she dropped her biggest hit so far, the sultry slow jam “I Might”.
“Pretty Lil’ Liar” is the brand new single from EVindie, and her second of 2023. The track was released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 22, 2023. A bluesy rock guitar riff opens the track as staccato handclaps introduce a live funk groove. On the mic, the singer offers a soulful takedown of the attractive and dishonest title character.
