SirenBlue Drop New Video ‘At Night’

SirenBlue is a veteran UK band enjoying a revival in the 2020’s. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the band from their 2021 LP Same But Different¬†and their recent single “Obsolete“. That track was the first single from the band’s brand new album Hit Like And Carry On.

The band’s sound is a radio-ready blend of power-pop hooks and indie-rock aesthetic. Active throughout the early 2000s, they released two albums during that time. In 2020 they got the idea to head back to the studio, after reissuing a remastered version of their album Death or Dreams. Working once again with hit-making producer Steve Evans, they released the second album of their comeback era on April 12, 2024.

“At Night” is the second single and video Hit Like and Carry On, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The track opens on an uptempo Clash-style snare march. The band weaves a tapestry of guitars and synths that brings to mind iconic early alternative bands like Psychedelic Furs or Siouxsie and the Banshees. Exotic melodies paint the periphery as vocalist Collette Horne offers observations on life, society, and interpersonal relationships in the modern digital age.
