Oisín Drops New Indie Soul From The Emerald Isle

We first heard from Oisín back in 2021 upon the release of his debut single “Happy Place“. That record introduced The Static Dive readers to an emerging young singer-songwriter from Donegal, Ireland. However, he first made a name for himself two years earlier. The singer’s cover of Ariana Grande’s “Needy” went viral on YouTube in 2019 when he was just 17-years-old.

Self-taught on guitar and piano, Oisín first began writing songs as a child. He cites iconic singers like Adele and Brandy as major influences on his style. His sound his a fluid mix of indie-pop grooves and smooth R&B vibes.

“Summer” is the brand new single from Oisín, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The track opens on a laid-back lo-fi beat and a melodic fingerpicked electric guitar. Deep bass tones, ambient synths, and strings set a chill R&B vibe as the singer steps to the mic. He delivers a melancholy dream of summer love in a smooth and soulful tenor.

"I envision a group of friends going for a drive, blasting it and singing along. I really hope people enjoy this song and get lost in it."
