Regular readers of The Static Dive are well acquainted with Gary Dranow. Over the past few months the Park City, Utah guitarist and songwriter has dropped a string of popular guitar-fueled singles. He has connected with fans around the world with popular rockers like “Puppet of Lies”, “Concrete Jungle”, and the chilled acoustic vibes of “Bodywise”.
Gary Dranow is a veteran independent recording artist and touring musician. He has traveled the world, writing songs and making music for more than four decades. In 2023 he launched a brand new international collaborative solo project. Working with Australian musician and producer Chris Zoupa he has released two albums, two double albums, and a string of EPs and singles.
“IDK” is a recent single from Gary Dranow, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 13, 2024. The song is the title track to one of the prolific songwriter’s numerous recent EPs. On the track, Gary and crew pair a grungy 90s vibe with thunderous classic rock drums, soaring modern rock vocals, and some arena-worthy guitar solos, as they seek answers in a confused world.
