We first heard from BB Stevens last November upon the release of his music video “Spirit Be Gone“. That track introduced The Static Dive readers to a veteran singer, songwriter, producer, promoter, YouTuber, blogger, and novelist based in Hoboken, New Jersey. The song was the lead single from Stevens’ EP Not My Monkeys, which also served as launching pad for his new record label.
BB Stevens began his professional musical journey while still in high school. He signed his first major label deal at sixteen, and he’s been making music ever since. Along the way he has worked with artists across the popular music spectrum, everyone from Madonna to Saving Abel vocalist Scotty Austin.
“Starlight In Me” is the brand new single and video from BB Stevens, released worldwide via all major streaming services on September 20, 2024. The track opens on a bluesy acoustic vibe. BB steps to the mic with guitar in hand and offers a heart-wrenching breakup ballad. As the track progresses the ensemble grows to include a full string orchestra and multi-part backing vocal harmonies, transforming the song into a cinematic heartbreak anthem.
