Regular readers of The Static Dive know Waterford, Ireland’s Suzic as a successful Pop and EDM songwriter and producer. Her previous singles “Free” and “My Life” featured the sweeping, cinematic sounds of ambient synths and Deep House grooves paired with emotional Pop and melodic Emo Rap vocals. However, the eclectic artist has worked in many different genres.
Since launching her career over thirty years ago, Suzic (aka Suzanne Carroll) has composed and recorded instrumental piano pieces, Electro-Pop nuggets, EDM hits and all different flavors of Pop, Rock and Alternative. On her latest single the multifaceted songwriter digs into a Gospel-fueled Country sound.
“Come into my Heart” is a brand new single from Suzic, released October 19, 2021. The song tells the story of a woman at the end of her rope who finds solace in her faith. The emotional allegory is set to a mix of electric and acoustic guitars, strings and and downtempo beat. Sati Thyme sings a powerful lead vocal as the band delivers a mellow Country ballad with occasional flashes of bluesy Classic Rock lead guitar.
I wrote this song to inspire people who have given up hope in life and you can turn their lives around with faith and hope.
