We first heard from CarTune last year in advance of his most recent album release. Fine Lines of Emotions introduced readers of The Static Dive to Orrin Warner, a veteran Hip-hop artist from Atlanta. Also known as InnerVoic3, the prolific artist has worked on a number of projects in the ATL of the past two decades.
He got an early start with influences in classic R&B and Soul music. By the time he was in junior high school CarTune was writing and recording his own original Hip-hop music. A string of singles, mixtapes and albums followed.
“Let it Go” is the current single from CarTune’s Fine Lines of Emotions, released worldwide via all major streaming services and Bandcamp on March 7, 2022. On the track, a melancholy lo-fi Jazz piano plays a soft melody. A smooth synth bass rides a funky old school breakbeat as the rapper steps to the mic with the story of his struggle to find his Zen while love and money repeatedly throw obstacles in his path to enlightenment.
