The Antenna Tribe is the professional name of an otherwise anonymous downtempo electronic artist from Los Angeles, California. The project debuted in 2021. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember them from singles like “Seconds”, “Two Hearts” and the EP Elastic Crowns.
In just over a year since their debut, the prolific producer has amassed an impressive volume of work. Since dropping the inaugural single “Gold Mine” in October of last year, The Antenna Tribe has released over a dozen singles and three EPs. Their latest release marks an exciting new direction for the project.
“So Lost” is the brand new single from The Antenna Tribe, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 9, 2022. Guest vocalist okafuwa. Strings and ambient synths introduce the track as the singer steps to the mic with a wistful soliloquy of loneliness and longing. Ethereal keys and subtle percussive arpeggios dance on the periphery as the beat drops on a minimalist downtempo electronic groove. Hypnotic vocal harmonies paint the edges of the mix and add to the song’s dreamy vibe.
