Anjalts is an emerging independent recording artist and producer who made her professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the single “Remember You”. That track introduced a multifaceted singer, songwriter and activist from Los Angeles, California. The talented young artist is deeply passionate about her music and the causes for which she stands.
Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember Anjalts from tracks like “Air to Fire“, “The Times We R Living ”, “Calling Out” and “Miracle 4we“. With each new release the singer addresses some of the biggest issues facing our society, from the California forest fires to the mental health crisis. Her sound is a genre-fluid mix of synth-pop, new wave and rock.
“Code Blue” is the brand new single from Anjalts, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 24, 2023. The track opens on a deep synthwave bass riding a four on the floor midtempo groove. Syncopated percussion, ethereal keys and a rock & roll guitar paint the periphery. On the mic Anjalts sings about the impact of cyberbullying and the difficulty of staying hopeful in the face of adversity.
