Malachi Eastling is an old friend of this website. Regular readers will remember the Iowa-based singer-song from previous singles like “Daydreaming” and “Voodoo Mood“. After dropping a string of popular releases throughout 2022 and 2023, the prolific song man took a break from the music scene to build his family.
The birth of his daughter Ezrah Grace inspired a spiritual awakening for Malachi Eastling, which in turn has reignited his music career. After sampling a few church services he was left feeling unfulfilled. So, the aspiring seeker decided to tackle the Bible on his own. In the scriptures he found a connection to God which eluded him when listening to the words of men.
“2ndThess2:4” is the brand new single from Malachi Eastling, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 20, 2024. A solo acoustic guitar opens the tune as the beat lands on a mellow, mid-tempo alt-pop groove. The singer steps to the mic and offers guidance from the Good Book. Warning of false prophets and the self-centered state of many in modern society, Malachi suggests we turn our attention to a higher plain.
