‘Purple Haze’ is the first taste of The Static Dive’s wild new genre-bending album. This isn’t just another cover, it’s the launch of a whole new musical journey for multi-instrumentalist Bob Smith. Following global buzz from his last Latin-jazz infused ‘Blue Light’ EPs, ‘Purple Haze’ sets the mood with lounge vibes, acid rock guitar, and bayou grooves. Discover the reimagined Hendrix classic anywhere you stream music.
The Static Dive’s forthcoming LP Blue Light After Party is the follow-up to Blue Light Sessions, Vol 1 & Vol 2. The two EPs are still getting airplay around the world. The new album follows the fictional Blue Light band as they entertain fans at a post-gig afterparty. All music performed, arranged, and produced by multi-instrumentalist composer Bob Smith.
